Educate your son!

By BRAI, MOR

Things need to change. I know many women can relate in feeling exhausted, angry and helpless in the events that occurred with Sarah Everard. Unfortunately, this is not the first and definitely won’t be the last.
I am fed up with people telling women how they should behave and adjust in order to prevent horrendous things happening to them.
@cutecatcalls put it perfectly in her recent post - “not one thing will change, until the men that do it do.”

I hate this feeling of helplessness, knowing that myself and many of my friends and family have experienced harassment and abuse from entitled and disgusting men.

What hurts me the most is the stories we have not heard about, the women who were unable to find justice.

100% of the profits from this Tee will be split equally between @womens_aid(They have been offering life-saving services to women and children suffering from domestic abuse, education and public awareness. The organisations work closely to offer a support system as well as a 24-hour National Domestic Violence Helpline) and @ourstreetsnow (A movement to end Public Sexual Harassment in the UK by making it a criminal offence and changing the culture that allows it.)

This isn’t just for Sarah Everard, but for Blessing Olusegun whose body was found on the beach last year.
The police did not investigate her death.
It’s for all the women whose stories were not told.

There needs to be change.
Men, hold other men accountable.
Look out for women.
Believe women!
Don’t forget about black women and women of colour! Blessing is just one case that wasn’t looked into by the police... think of the countless others.
Change is the only option we have.
